General Information

Q. Is my username/password for the shopping cart the same as my ECRI Institute username/password?

A. No. The username and password for the shopping cart is different from your ECRI Institute username and password.

Q. Are there discounts for groups that attend the classroom-style course or participate in the independent/self-study?
A. While group pricing is available, the amount of any discount applied is calculated on a case-by-case basis.  All requests for group pricing should directed to Luke Petosa at (610) 825-6000, ext. 5330 or education@ecri.org.


Q. Where are OSHA courses held?

Payment and Tax Information

Q. What payment methods does ECRI INSTITUTE* accept?

A. ECRI INSTITUTE* currently accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, check, or a purchase order (PO) number.  

Q. How can I get ECRI INSTITUTE’s federal tax identification number?

A.  ECRI’s federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) is 23-1662091.

Q. How can I get a copy of a W-9 form?

Q. Do I get a receipt for payment?

A. If you need a receipt of payment, please contact our circulation department at (610) 825-6000 ext. 5889, or at circulation2@ecri.org


Q. When does the registration period close for a particular class?

A. 24 hours before a particular class is when the registration closes. (However, based on extenuating circumstances, exceptions can be made.) It is always to your advantage to register for a class as soon as possible to ensure your seat in that class.

Q. Can I registration first and then forward payment later?

A. Yes, while not the preferred method, you may register for a particular class and submit payment at a later date. However, payment must be received on or before the last day of class.  Failure to complete payment in a timely manner may result in the student’s course completion materials being withheld.

Q. How many students register for a typical class?

A. The class size typically ranges between 20-30 students.



Q. How do I know I have the qualifications and/or  pre-requisites to take a particular course?  

A. If you have a question regarding whether you are qualified to take particular course, please feel free to contact Luke Petosa at (610) 825-6000, ext. 5330, or info@oshamidatlantic.org.       



Q. If I cancel my registration, what are my options?

A. If you must cancel your registration, you have several options:

Option 1: You may transfer to one of the other courses already scheduled and not incur any penalty.  
Note: you may transfer to any of the other courses offered in the current or next calendar year. To do so, please fill out another registration form, check the “transfer” box on the form, and include an additional payment of $75 for the transfer fee.

Option 2: If you do not wish to transfer to another course, you may cancel outright. If you cancel, you will be reimbursed the amount paid for the course minus a $25.00 administrative fee.

Option 3: Your Company can decide to send someone else to the course.  If this is the case, it is your company’s responsibility to register the new attendee and provide any/all pre-requisite documentation.


Q. If I cancel my registration or a course is cancelled, how will my payment be refunded?

A. Despite how you may have originally paid for a course, all reimbursements for courses will be made by check.
